For sourcing and coordination, our standard fee guide is 10% of the first $5,000 of project value, then 5% of the amount above $5,000. The minimum fee is $50.
Your starting payment is part of that fee. If you manage the project yourself using the workspace and included hour, you only pay the $50 starting fee.
The calculator is a guide. Your final fee and the support included are confirmed against your accepted supplier quote. Complex projects receive a tailored quote.

A few things you might be wondering
What does the $50 starting payment include?
It covers your project workspace and up to one hour of personal support in total for that project. You can organize your brief, images and documents, share your project and approach specialists yourself. We confirm access, the included AI allowance and payment details before you pay.
Do I have to pay a percentage if I manage everything myself?
No. If you use the workspace and included support, the starting fee is $50. A project value fee applies when you ask us to source partners, compare quotes or coordinate delivery. We agree that service and its fee with you first.
How is the project fee calculated?
Our standard guide is 10% of the first $5,000 of accepted supplier costs, then 5% of the amount above $5,000, with a $50 minimum. Your initial $50 is credited toward that total. We confirm the scope and final fee before starting. Complex projects may need a tailored quote.
What counts as the project value?
The accepted supplier quote for the work we help coordinate, excluding sales tax and our service fee. An AI estimate helps you plan but is not the basis for a final charge. Any scope or fee change is agreed with you first.
Who carries out the work?
You choose and contract directly with your specialist. commissionit helps you prepare the brief, find suitable partners, compare their quotes and coordinate the agreed work. Supplier payments and our service fee are shown separately.
What if I need more than one hour of support?
We agree any additional support, sourcing or project management with you before it starts. The $50 package does not include unlimited support or unlimited AI generation. There are no automatic support charges.
How does this work for painting orders?
Paintings ordered through our artwork ordering service follow the price and terms shown there. Any applicable service fee is disclosed before you commit, so you can see the full cost of your order.
Is this for individuals or businesses?
Both. We support personal projects, gifts and home improvements, as well as projects for shops, studios and other small businesses. There is no monthly subscription for this service.
